Teacher Responsibilities
- Select the reporters or group of reporters
- Let the students lead the project and come up with ideas, create content etc.
- Guide the students to select interesting subjects and stories that promote environmental action and success stories in their community
- Supervise and support the development of student videos, articles etc.
- Ensure content is appropriate
- Ensure the photo release form is signed by people appearing in video or pictures
- Make sure the students create, at the least, articles or video content for the following months: November, February, May*
- Send the final product (DVD disc for video or send articles and pictures by email) to Earth Day Canada.
* If your class does not provide videos and/or articles to Earth Day Canada for November, February and May, you will have to return the camera.
Student Responsibilities
- Find good topics, subjects or stories that promote environmental excellence in their community
- Lead the project
- Create, at the least, articles or video content for the following months: November, February, May
- Be creative.
