Many frogs need more then one place to live.
- In the springtime most frogs go back to the
same pond year after year to lay their eggs.
- In Canada (and some other places) where it gets
cold in the winter frogs go to another home where
they can hibernate.
- Some frogs go to different ponds/wetlands at different times of the year so they can find enough food to eat. If a road goes between frogs' summer and winter homes, then they have to go across it.
