Why did the frog cross the road?--To get to the other half of his home!

Every year, thousands and thousands of frogs get SQUASHED trying to hop their way across roads.

On their way home hundreds of frogs can be crossing one part of a road at the same time. Most frogs follow the same route at the same time every year. This is called migration. Frog migrations usually take place in the spring and fall.

If they can get squashed, why do frogs cross roads?
